ABOUT NICKY

I’m Nicky — a trauma-informed yoga and somatics facilitator (950hr YTT), traveller, rollerskater, baby-waves surfer, and lover of movement, nature, and sisterhood.

I found yoga more than 12 years ago, in the middle of my own healing journey. At that time I was dealing with PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and a constant feeling of not being safe in my body or in the world. Therapy gave me understanding, but it was through the body ,through yoga, somatics, and movement, that I began to truly heal.

Yoga taught me how to calm my nervous system, let go of what I’d been holding onto for so long, and feel safe again. But I also discovered that healing isn’t just about slowing down — it’s also about joy, laughter, and play. That’s why I learned to roller skate in my late twenties and to surf in my thirties. These practices gave me freedom, courage, and a way back to the playful, adventurous parts of myself.

As a Human Design Projector, it feels natural for me to really see people and to create spaces where they feel safe, held, and free to be themselves. My mission is to guide women back to their most authentic selves — to remind you that life can feel soft, magical, and fun again.

  • Somatics & Trauma-Informed YTT, 50hr (2024, Mythic Movement)

My personal journey, playfulness, and dedicated ongoing training comes together in the way I teach and in the retreats I create.

ABOUT INNERSPACE RETREATS

Inner Space Retreats offers transformative and playful experiences for women who long to reconnect with themselves and with each other.

Drawing from 12+ years of yoga and somatic practices, world travels, and the joy of skating and surfing, I created Inner Space Retreats as a sanctuary where women can slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the magic of community and life. Healing isn’t only about stillness — it’s also about joy, laughter, and play.

At Inner Space Retreats you’ll step into a circle of women from around the world, held in an atmosphere of mindfulness, playfulness, and care. Together with carefully chosen co-facilitators, I create a safe, inclusive space to reconnect with your body, find balance, and feel truly held.

These retreats are more than yoga — they are a journey of exploration, transformation and sisterhood. A place to rest, release, and go deeper within, while remembering how much fun life can be. When you play, connect, and slow down, your most authentic self is free to shine.
