Yes, your host and main yoga teacher Nicky has a lot of experience in teaching yoga to beginners. She will always give variations in her classes, so you can choose the one that works the best for your body and mind in the given moment. Nicky did 900 hr of yoga teacher trainings with her main focus on Hatha, which is a perfect style of yoga to start your yoga journey with. Hatha is a slower form of yoga which will help you to get a better understanding of the alignment and benefits of the yoga poses.
We believe that a yoga retreat is the perfect way to get a better understanding of yoga and its healing benefits. We keep the groups of our retreats small so there is a lot of personal attention and 1:1 time with our teachers. There will be different types of yoga like Hatha, Yin, Slow Fow, and Kundalini, so you can learn which one works the best for your body and mind.

‘‘This retreat in Sri Lanka was special. I’ve done retreats before, but the Innerspace retreat helped me so much to connect with me authentic self. It is not only a yoga, skate or surf retreat. It’s not a one topic retreat. It embeds multiple parts of life. I have goosebumps saying that, because it was so awaking for me. I rediscovered my true self, and I’m so happy.’’
— Beatrice FAdin, SRI LANKA 2024
‘‘The Sri Lanka retreat was so life-changing. I will definitely be joining in the future to other retreats. Perfect balance between play and practice, and such beautiful people. Nicky is so good at making everyone feel like family, and packing up the day with wholesome activities but leaving space for rest, integration, and self-reflection. Loved my time there and would recommend these retreats anywhere.’’
— Maia Benaim, SRI LANKA 2024
‘‘I attended an Innerspace retreat on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Even though I don’t skate or surf the retreat was perfect. The location was beautiful, surrounded by the jungle and nature which made it even more peaceful. I felt so relaxed and in touch with myself at this retreat. It included daily hatha practice, yin, a sound bath, journaling, and everything you could want to have a truly relaxing reset. Nicky made me feel so welcome and I would love to attend one of her retreats again in the future.’’
